On August 9th, 2008 the skies opened and celebrated with tears of joy as Catrina and Darren were preparing for their vows. Minutes before the walk down the aisle the rain stopped the the sky was illuminated and highlighted by dark clouds. It was an great sky to photograph as nothing could be “blown out” and the light was at its softest.
The bridal party was full of life and love for the couple. Not to mention made me and and my brother feel apart of their amazing day! I have to give a shout out the their ability to do whatever I directed and more! Fun and imaginative they were fabulous!
As for Catrina, well the calmest bride I ever met before and after the ceremony. Only on her way down the aisle did she produce the cutest poutiest lip I have ever seen. She made me cry, and come to think of it I have cried at every wedding I have photographed!
I wish Catrina, Darren and their beautiful daughter Danica all the best. Catrina was the first person to book me for a wedding and thus really started the madness that is now Ophelia. I owe so much to the couple and was honored to be apart of their amazing day!
