Boudoir sessions are tasteful photos that hint at sexiness. Every person has their own idea of what sexy is as well as what they are comfortable with. These sessions are cute, fun, sexy, flirty and even a bit sensual all the while maintaining your comfort level. This was my second time photographing a boudoir photography and I have to say it was an amazing experience. All 3 women were gorgeous, confident and brought such amazing energy to the entire day. It got me thinking after the session was over. It is inevitable that our bodies will change, we will get older and the frown lines on our faces will grow deeper.
Why is it that in the prime of our lives we seem to “waste our pretty?” I argue that we get so wrapped up in criticizing our bodies that we forget to really look and appreciate what we have. I am on the eve of my 30th year of life this year and I still complain. When will I learn? Would I ever have the confidence to do a session like this?
In the end I hope these photos made all three of these gorgeous women feel more stunning. Not just because they’re beautiful, but because they had the confidence to do something I think many women would love try! How to look good naked! Well not naked because my mother would be devastated (my mom is my strong moral compass), but how to wear a little less clothing then usual! Like a bikini. Only these gals rocked some amazing lingerie.
