Sarah is one of my best friends and she recently left Vancouver with her family, to return to her roots in Port Alberni. Sarah the quintessential optimist who bought an antique store in Port Alberni and is forging full steam ahead. She is ambitious, smart, savvy, and a true artist. She truly is an inspirational entrepreneur. Her store GT Antiques and Collectables (formally know as Gramma’s Trunk) has a art gallery feel located in grandma’s house. There are pieces for every taste, age and style. From vintage clothing, retro furniture, depression glass, royal albert plates and tea cups, rhinestone jewellery, paintings and so much more.
In fact every-time I go there, I find something new to fall in love with. Recently I purchased a vintage wedding gown and veil that I will be photographing with model Corrie Flint this Thursday. Sarah’s store revitalizes my own inspiration for photography, but most importantly I am so very proud of my friend for following her dreams. Love you Sarah!!!!
If you love collectable antiques, or want to get your hands on the most amazing hand made hair accessories by Sarah from her collection Adorn Atelier, you must visit her store. For those of you not in Port Alberni, you can visit GT Antiques on Etsy.
Now for some photos. I recently purchased the Canon 100mm 2.8 Macro/Portrait lens with image stabilization….. and I must say, I love it!

Some of the awesome pieces from Adorn Atelier. You can see some of my past photos of these amazing hair accessories here and here.
GT Antiques is located on 4943 Argyle St Port Alberni, BC
